My New Zealand

The first online series in Chinese, for Chinese, by a Kiwi

Hi! I’m Simon.

You may have come here because I’ve interviewed you as a journalist, worked with you through one of my companies, or somehow else we’ve met. Congratulations!

This site is my virtual home on the web. From here, you’ll be able to connect with me in just about any way possible, whether it’s through social networking (like Facebook, LinkedIn and Ecademy), through one of the businesses I’m involved in (details on the right), or just by picking up the phone (details on the top right).

Who am I?

I’m a guy who enjoys thinking about the big picture. I’m curious about the world. That’s why I write for magazines about the future of business and marketing. That’s why I blog, and teach others how to blog. That’s why I’m part of the world’s biggest consumer-generated documentary.

I’ve got other interests, too, that feed into all the main business interests. I love history, music, the arts, movies and – mostly – having conversations with people who are passionate about what they do.

I’m a believer in Jesus Christ, and I continue to go on a journey of discovery that I started to document a few years ago. I find it really interesting that many of the same big picture trends that I’ve seen in the Christian subculture are now being reflected in the world of business – and vice versa. I think there’s a lot to be learnt by studying and being open to the beliefs of others. Shallow, wide, non-committal hunger and thirst for knowledge typifies my approach. Of course, you can’t stay shallow forever, and sometimes you find a Truth that just pulls you in further.

I’m an Audi TT!

You’re not the fastest, nor the most nimble, but you’re cute and you have style. You’re not intensely competitive, but when you pass by, everyone turns to look.

I’m a Talent!

You’re a risk-taker, and you follow your passions. You’re determined to take on the world and succeed on your own terms. Whether in the arts, science, engineering, business, or politics, you fearlessly express your own vision of the world. You’re not afraid of a fight, and you’re not afraid to bet your future on your own abilities. If you find a job boring or stifling, you’re already preparing your resume. You believe in doing what you love, and you’re not willing to settle for an ordinary life.
